I've been blasting drum & bass most of the week off of the back of hearing an absolute banger at the gym that I didn't manage to Shazam in time but got me pumped on fast beats again.

As a result I've been putting together some gnarly drum kits in FL and having a whale of a time playing with them.

Dan:

Two New Year's resolutions for me are to play more music and get to more gigs.

So, I've spent the last few days experimenting with music recording and amp emulation on Linux (Ardour & Guitarix), and booking in gigs -- starting with Sam Greenfield, Phoebe Katis & Nothing But Thieves in Düsseldorf!
